Yesterday, I posted an article about how I got rid of my fax and replaced it with an online service. A reader wrote to me and asked:
“That’s all well and good. But what about if someone needs your signature on a document like a contract? This would surely require a physical fax machine.”
As part of my business, I regularly receive contracts via online fax requiring my signature . The process I use is:
- Print out the document.
- Sign it where required.
- Scan it into my computer to .pdf format.
- Fax the signed .pdf document back to the person using my online fax service.
