Harry Potter Read-a-Long

Harry potter and the sorcerers stone coverIf you’ve been thinking about rereading the Harry Potters series or if you’re brand new to the Harry Potter world, then you may be interested in my Harry Potter Read-a-long that I’ll be hosting on my YouTube (Booktube) channel (Roger’s Reads) beginning this coming Sunday, May 13.

We’ll be reading 2-3 chapters a week, working our way through the entire series. In the comments section, we can discuss what you liked/disliked about the chapters, chapter themes, character development or anything else you’d like to talk about relating to the chapters read.

The first book we’ll be reading is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (or Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone if you’re reading the UK version) and we’ll be reading Chapters 1-2 for this Sunday. Don’t worry if you haven’t gotten the book yet — the video will remain up and will be there until you’re ready.

Questions? Let me know.

You can purchase Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone here at Amazon or at The Book Depository.

My New BookTube Channel!

Roger's Reads Booktube channel

I just wanted to let everyone know that I recently started a Booktube Channel called Roger’s Reads.  If you’re not familiar with BookTube, this refers to content creators on YouTube that film videos around book-related topics.

My specific channel is where I talk about bookish things, discuss the books I’ve read, the books I want to read and book to movie adaptations.  At the moment, I’m posting every Tuesday and Thursday but may add in an extra day.  If you’d like to check it out, the URL is:  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4j01M8gupBraeWtRutrwWQ

My most recent video is where I filmed my reaction to the movie Love, Simon.  You can check out that video at:  https://youtu.be/tFVqIL_BJoQ

If you like the channel, please consider subscribing.  This way, you’ll be notified whenever I post a new video.
