Went out for a walk the other day in Brown Deer Park. Getting a bit of cabin fever so figured we’d get out. Even though it is the gray time of year, the Brown Deer Park boathouse on the water looks pretty cool.

Spent the entire day wrapping up my Photoshop Level 1 class. It ended up much larger than I intended. This is the “instructor-led” version. Once I finish with Level 2, I’m going to work on a personal version, complete with video. Been meaning to do that for awhile. Hopefully, folks will find it useful.
Today’s photo is another one from the beach. I like the fact that with the exception of the sea gull, she was the only one at the beach.

Today in Milwaukee, the high was only 1. Now in my opinion, “1” should never be the high. I suppose things could be worse – the high in International Falls, MN was -15.
Today’s pic is of a sunrise in Florida – no landscape, no pier – just the sunrise.
This is another picture of the Deerfield Beach Pier, but this time the sun is starting to rise. I think this one came out pretty good. It’s a nice picture to view today as a wicked cold snap is on the way – high on Sunday is 10.

Been going through my Florida photos a little at a time. Here’s one of an empty lifeguard at the each. I was impressed by how well-equipped this beach was with lifeguards – I think there were 3 or 4 stations, a short distance from each other.

I am playing around some more today with my Deerfield Beach photos. The colors came out quite intense, especially the orange. While it is eye-popping, I like it. This is how I torture myself in January in Milwaukee — look at beach photos. That’s what happens when I take 1200 vacation photos!
