Came across this photo today – two beach shelters just waiting for me to occupy them. Too bad I’m 1,200 miles away.

We’re having a bit of a winter storm today, although it’s not quite as bad as was predicted. Still had to go out and shovel a couple of times. Makes me appreciate my Florida photos a bit.
This one was taking right at sunset. We were driving along and noticed that it was near sunset — and the thought to check out the Hillsborough Inlet Lighthouse came to mind. Took quite a few pictures as the colors were spectacular. Too bad there was that oddly colored junk in front of it.

There’s a winter storm on the way so I decided to live in a state of denial and play around with some more of my vacation beach pictures (sigh). Makes me wish I was there today. One thing I can say for Deerfield Beach – it has the best sunrises! Every morning we went, they were spectacular. But really, how many sunrise pier pictures can one take? Apparently a lot.

Took this picture while walking last summer. It’s not easy to find a completely intact spider web. Thought this one was pretty cool.
I haven’t been on for a few days. Finally finished up my Photoshop class for PCM Courseware and have now moved onto Excel 2013. Got around to going through some photos this afternoon and realized that I had not added this one to my portfolio.

I needed to get out and get a bit of fresh air so we took a little river walk yesterday after the snow. Kletzsch Park, the little park near my house, has a man-made dam that is interesting no matter what time of year. I must say that right now, it looks especially spectacular. The river is just starting to freeze. Snapped a whole bunch of photos — will have to see what’s salvageable.
